THAT the content of the Trails and Active Transportation Committee Meeting agenda for Thursday, July 10, 2025, be adopted as amended: Addition of agenda item 7.1 – Boardwalk Update

THAT the minutes of the regular meeting of the Trails and Active Transportation Advisory Committee held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, be adopted as presented and forwarded to Council for receipt at its next regular meeting.

THAT the Trails and Active Transportation Advisory Committee approve the following Draft 2026 Goals and Objectives including any identified budget considerations: Accelerate the adoption of the most current safety standards and improved connectivity for road and trail networks, specifically targeting improvements in active transportation visibility. Initiate the process to secure additional funds in the 2026 Operations budget to advance the overdue repairs on older trails in deteriorated condition. Actively champion Collingwood’s status as a Bicycle Friendly Community to drive the adoption of safe active transportation. AND THAT the Draft 2026 Goals and Objectives document be forwarded to Legislative Services for consideration as is by Council with the only additions by Council in the Draft 2026 Municipal Budget
