Trails and Active Transportation Advisory Committee

THAT the content of the Trails and Active Transportation Committee Meeting agenda for Thursday, October 9, 2025, be adopted as presented.

THAT the minutes of the regular meeting of the Trails and Active Transportation Advisory Committee meeting held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, be adopted as presented and forwarded to Council for receipt at its next regular meeting.

THAT the Trails and Active Transportation Advisory Committee (TATAC), being informed that an application to the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority (NVCA) is required to pre-consultation regarding further boardwalk expansion, along previously cut trails, on the Cranberry Marsh Property; AND THAT the TATAC is informed that such an application is required to be submitted by the Town of Collingwood by an appropriate Town of Collingwood Staff member; AND FURTHER THAT TATAC therefore requests that the Town of Collingwood promptly prepare a pre-consultation application to the NVCA requesting approval to proceed with expansion of the boardwalk, along the previously cut trails on the Cranberry Marsh property owned by the Town; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the TATAC requests that the designated Town Staff member consult with and include a designated representative of the TATAC in the preparation of the application and in following up with NVAC regarding approvals.

THAT the Trails and Active Transportation Advisory Committee receive the ‘Trails and Active Transportation Capital Projects – September 2025 Update' for information purposes only.

THAT the Trails and Active Transportation Advisory Committee receive the '2026 Trails and Active Transportation Advisory Committee meeting schedule' for their information.

THAT the meeting of the Trails and Active Transportation Advisory Committee be hereby adjourned at 4:01 p.m.,
